Children Investment Fund Project: Supporting Access for Adolescents to Integrated Sexual and Reproductive Health Services
Safire aims to improve adolescent girls (10 – 19 years of age) sexual and reproductive health in the context of reducing unwanted pregnancy and associated death or injury, with the aim of saving lives. Furthermore, the program aims to strengthen referral networks, working with Community Based Organizations (CBOs) so that adolescents know where to go and can access safe high quality reproductive health services and information. It also fosters a supportive environment through supportive community norms, reducing stigma and the use of social media, mobile phones, and interpersonal networks. It a project that runs from 2018 to January 2023.
